DBW Pedal Adapter
This adapter allows the use of a Toyota 78010-33010 pedal in the 3rd gen Toyota MR2 to generate a DBW signal. This can be used with stock Toyota ECUs as well as aftermarket ECUs.
Please note, when using this with the stock ECU the exact pedal calibration may need to be adjusted by using the bolts on the side of the pedal to achieve full travel. This is because the carpet acts as the stop and the exact thickness can vary. Also, when using this in a stripped out car with the carpet removed it becomes necessary to add a stop behind the pedal to avoid the signal out of range error from the ECU.
If using an aftermarket ECU the pedal generates a usable signal through the entire range and no stop is required with the carpet removed.
In the third picture the pedal face shown is the stock MR2 spyder pedal face. This face can be removed from the stock pedal by removing the roll pin and installed on the camry pedal assembly. This is purely cosmetic, the camry pedal face can be used with no functionality difference.
