2GR Velocity stack intake manifold (V1 Rev B)

The 2GR-FE intake manifold is engineered for applications where vertical height is less of a concern. This design facilitates cost savings by allowing the reuse of the stock lower intake manifold and fuel rails. The manifold is available in two runner lengths: one length is optimized for stock cam configurations, while the other is tailored for higher RPM setups. Additionally, the spacers feature a flat side, enabling users to easily cut them to a custom length if desired. For custom length spacers, please feel free to contact us directly.

In the SW20 chassis, the use of these spacers necessitates the installation of an aftermarket engine lid. The flange-to-flange height without spacers measures 79mm, while utilizing the spacers adds an additional 31mm. The top of the runners extends approximately 38mm beyond the top flange into the plenum.

Kit Contents:

  • Lower plenum plate

  • 3x Dual runner modules

  • Base plate

  • 10x M6×25 screws (for plenum attachment)

  • 6x M8×30 runners (to lower plenum plate fasteners)

  • Plenum gasket

  • Runner-to-base plate gaskets

  • OEM 2GR-FXE intake manifold gasket

  • 2x 1/4” NPT barbs (for brake booster and PCV circuit)

  • 2x 1/8” NPT plugs

If spacers are ordered, the kit also includes:

  • 3x Spacers

  • 3x Spacer gaskets

  • 6x Extended bolts

For installation guidance, Alex Wilhelm has provided a comprehensive blog post detailing the install procedure in an MR2, including images showcasing hood clearance. Please note that the images relate to a previous revision of this intake; however, the overall height without spacers remains consistent. The manifold is designed with the Holley Hi-Ram bolt pattern. While the standard Holley plenum functions effectively, Wilhelm Raceworks offers a modified version that accommodates the 76mm throttle body upgrade directly and fits more seamlessly within the SW20 engine bay. Available here.
