2GR-FE Frankenstein Motorworks Camshafts

These high quality camshafts are manufactured by CatCams to the Frankenstein Motorworks specification.

Specifications:

  • Intake 280 @ 0.1mm, 230 @ 1.0mm, 11.5mm lift

  • Exhaust 275 @ 1.0mm, 225 @1.0mm, 11.0mm lift

  • Designed for valve clearance with 2GR-FXE as well as 2GR-FE pistons while retaining full VVT-I motion.

  • Extra pin location to allow 10 degree further advanced intake cam location to bring torque on about 500rpm earlier but only clears 2GR-FE pistons in this configuration.

  • Significantly reduced valve overlap from advanced exhaust cam centerline to allow smooth 650rpm idle. This allows stock ECU operation.

  • Corrects bank imbalance found on stock cams as well as many aftermarket camshafts

  • Gundrilled cams to reduce weight by 4lbs over stock camshafts


Dyno shown is with Frankenstein Motorworks intake manifold, 3.5" Velocity stack intake, Frankenstein Motorworks cast headers, Frankenstein Motorworks 8000rpm valve springs and Alex Wilhelm x-pipe with catalytic converters.

Basetune available for Haltech ECU, Tune also available for stock ECU.
