1AR-FE/2AR-FE ECU with Immobilizer Removed

This is a modified 2010 Toyota Highlander 1AR-FE ECU. It is designed to be used in engine swap applications with a manual transmission. The following changes have been made:

  • Automatic transmission disabled

  • Rev limiter raised to 7200

  • Immobilizer reset to allow operation with no immobilizer. This module will pair itself with an immobilizer if one is connected to it.

  • Speed limiter raised to 320MPH (effectively disabled)

  • Tuned to use MAF Pipe available on this site.

NOTES:

  • This is a 1AR-FE ECU but it can be used with the 2AR-FE Engine without any issues.

  • This ECU does not modify any emissions operation, all the monitors are as they would be in a 2010 Highlander.

  • These are used ECUs purchased from a junkyard. most of them have cosmetic blemishes and writing on the exterior but they will have an undamaged connector. If you prefer for me to modify an ecu that you supply please use the “Contact Us” page and reach out to me first. Also the part number on the ECU may not be from a Highlander since there is some interchangeability in the circuit boards.
