2AR-FE/1AR-FE MAF pipe
NOTE: These are discounted because the only remaining units are blemished. The blemishes are not visible once the air filter is installed.
This part is required for the 1AR-FE swap ECU sold here, it ensures consistent MAF readings which simplifies the 1AR-FE engine swap.
The optional bracket bolts the MAF pipe to the top of the left motor mount bracket and can be attached to the motor with the camry intake pipe part number: 17880-0V080 / 17881-0V070
The recomended filter is an AEM 21-209EDK that is relatively compact and works well but any 6” filter should fit.
Note that this MAF pipe needs a special calibration, the pipe flows between 20 and 35% more air depending on the location on the map. running this on a stock calibration will result in a very lean condition. This calibration is available on the store with the de-immobilized ECUs. Contact me at Marc@FrankensteinMotorworks.com if you need this calibration on a different ECU. I might be able to help depending on the application.
It is strongly recommended to run the 22204-0H010 MAF sensor with this pipe. This is what the de-immobilized 1AR-FE ECU i sell is made to run.
