2AR-FE camshafts
NOTE: These camshafts are now out of stock, while they made great power it’s obvious that the market wants smaller camshafts designed for use with the stock ECU so i’m working on a different grind for now.
These camshafts are 289 degree advertised, 240 degree at 0.050” with 12.2mm lift. The grind is asymmetric.
Details about the build here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBmu2Phzvbo
NOTES:
· The stock valve springs WILL NOT allow for the 12.2mm of lift that this camshaft has. I do sell valve springs that will work with this.
· The 12.2mm of lift is quite a bit and will require confirming that the valves will not hit the pistons. Depending on the motor’s exact configuration you may have to set the static timing off from the normal position. Please reach out if you have any questions about this.
· These are not expected to be compatible with the factory ECU. Someone may be able to prove otherwise but unless you are very certain of what you are doing please do not buy these for use with the stock ECU. I am happy to make the Haltech tune available with the purchase of these camshafts and if you buy the Haltech ECU from me i will also be happy to support you in getting your car up and running with that tune.
