1AR-FE header
1AR-FE header designed for engine swap the 2012 highlander 1ar-fe into the MR2 Spyder. This header is an equal length 4-2-1 design that terminates in a 2.5” v-band flange.
An embossed steel gasket is provided as well as the other mating half of the v-band flange.
The Length of this header is designed to keep the catalytic converter location matching the OEM location. This simply tucks the exhaust closer to the engine to make it fit in the Spyder. The OEM part this is designed to replace is 17141-36050.
Please note that the outlet of this header does not match the OEM location exactly. This header is not intended for use in stock applications and it cannot be used in stock applications as it does not align with the stock exhaust system.
The exhaust manifold bolt pattern on the 2AR-FE and the 1AR-FE are identical but the 2AR-FE places the catalytic converter on the manifold so this cannot be used on the 2AR-FE. Only on the 1AR-FE since that motor has the Catalytic converter under the engine.
