More complete wiring documentation coming soon. For now here are the important notes:
The ECU wiring is exactly as the sienna wiring diagram seen here with the following changes:
Pin 35 on the small connector goes from being ST- to being the top of clutch position switch. This input should be grounded when the pedal is at the top of the stroke and open or 12V when the pedal is just barely pressed. On some cars this will require the addition of a switch since the MR2s that shipped without cruise control from the factory there will only be the bottom of the clutch position switch which is used for start interlock.
Pin 26 on the large connector used to be the “R” input, this is now the A/C idle up input. Connect directly to A/C clutch, this should see 12V when the compressor is engaged.
Pin 27 on the large connector used to be the “D” input, this is now permanently selected in software and this input can be left floating. No damage will occur if this pin is connected to 12V as was previously required.
Also note that the cruise control stalk output values are the modern ones from the sienna, the stock MR2 stalk will need different resistors installed to make it work.
